Linda G. Smith

By | July 15, 2019

Linda would like to let you know her work here is done. She received a call, it was an offer made on July 13th, 2019 from which she will not be returning. This job came with a huge sign-on bonus, a reunion with her Mom, Lucille; Dad, Hurst; brother, Doug; sister, Mary; a very special sister-in-law, Nancy Beckley; and many friends she has not seen in a long time. Her new mission will take her to yard sales, watching “Gunsmoke” and watching her spooky shows. Laughing and love are guaranteed. Food is delicious and never gain a pound.

She married her one and only true love, Art Smith on July 18th, they had two good daughters, Starla (Jackson) Crisp of Sharpsburg, Kentucky and Amanda (Ray) Snider of Wellston, Ohio. That all changed when they had 11 grandkids and six great-grandkids. Linda always said you love your kids but the love for your grandkids is different and so great.

Friends may call on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 18th at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Freddy Crabtree officiating. Burial will follow at Hamilton Cemetery.

Arrangements for Linda G. Smith are under the direction of the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home in Jackson. Condolences may be sent to www.mayhew-brownfuneralhome.com.
