Larry Richard Welch, age 75, of Jackson, Ohio passed away Wednesday, January 29th, 2020 at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe. He was born October 15th, 1944 in Oak Hill, Ohio to the late Clarence and Mollie (Nichols) Welch.
Larry graduated from Oak Hill High School, class of 1963. He retired from AP Green in Oak Hill. He was a member of the Buckeye Baptist Church in Jackson, Ohio where he served as a Deacon for 20 years. Larry enjoyed his cats, Buttercup and Willie and a host of family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Linda (Fry) Welch; brother, Donald (Vickie) Welch; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Myron and Eugene Welch.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, February 2nd, 2020 from
2-5PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 3rd, 2020 at 1PM at the funeral home with Rev. Allie Skaggs officiating. Burial will follow at Fairmount Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to www.lewisgillum.com
