Larry Kent Russell, 81, passed away on Dec. 22, 2016. A native of Wellston, Ohio, Larry was the only child of the late Pearl Russell and Roselle DuPree Russell and was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Byrd Russell.
Larry is survived by his daughters, Rhonda Russell, Rachel Sinks (Michael), Rebecca White (Colby); grandchildren, Jessica Flatter, Alan Sinks, Cara and Colby White; great-grandchildren, Addison and Easton Flatter and Aidan and Sebastian Sinks; and a host of family and friends.
Larry was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and retired from the Naval Weapon Station, Yorktown, VA after 36 years of devoted service. He was an active member of Grace Baptist Church, Williamsburg, VA.
A private burial will be held at Tolarsville Baptist Church Cemetery, NC, at a later date.
