Kerry E. Peoples, age 67, of Wellston, passed away Monday, Dec. 31, 2018 at Jenkins Care Community in Wellston. He was born Nov. 23, 1951 in Columbus, Ohio, son of the late Kenneth O. Peoples and Ruth Elizabeth Clark Peoples.
Kerry formerly attended, and was employed by, J-VAC Industries in Wellston. From the time he was a young child, Kerry never let his disabilities define him. His determination to make the best of each day inspired many people. He enjoyed writing and watching T.V., and in years past, he enjoyed fishing.
Kerry always enjoyed being with those around him, especially his sweetheart, Kimmy. He attended the Wellston Church of the Nazarene.
Kerry is survived by his wife of 14 years, Kimberly Jenkins Peoples; sister, Karen Kinney; brother, Randy Peoples; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins, and his friends from J-VAC Industries and Jenkins Care Community.
Besides his parents, Kerry was preceded in death by an infant brother, Kenneth Peoples; and a nephew, Jesse Peoples.
Funeral service will be Friday at 1 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston, where family and friends may call one hour prior to the funeral service. Burial will follow in the Ridgewood Cemetery. Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com
