Joshua Ryan Ray, age 32, of Coalton, Ohio, passed away on Jan. 6, 2020 at the University of Kentucky-Albert B. Chandler Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. He was born on May 19, 1987 in Gallipolis, Ohio to Dennis James Ray and Tiffani Lynn Stanley.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Steven Stanley and a grandfather, William “Bill” McGinnis.
Joshua is survived by his parents, Dennis James Ray (Maretta) and Tiffani Lynn Stanley; wife, Chelsea Dawn (Landrum) Ray; children, Landon Ray, Laine Ray, Nolan Ray, Caylee King and Chloe Martin; brothers, Jared Stanley and Justin Ohm; sisters, Lynnesi Myers (Tim Lenegar) and Amanda Ray (Clinton) Carr; grandparents, James and Pauline Ray and Linda McGinnis; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
A funeral service will be held at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home on Friday, Jan. 10, 2020 at 2 p.m. with Pastor Eric Jenkins officiating. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, Jan. 9 from 4 to 6 p.m.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home and Southern Ohio Cremation Services in Jackson.
