Jennifer June “Jenny” Klein, age 75, passed away on March 27, 2019 at Holzer Medical Center in Gallipolis, OH. She was born on Oct. 27, 1943 in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late Cowan and Florence Pauline (Crabtree) Workman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Stanley Workman and son, Stephen Scott Maple. Jenny was a former employee of the Jackson Corp.
Jenny is survived by her husband, John F. Klein; son, Darren (Julie) Maple; and daughter, Josie (Tim) Howard, all of Oak Hill; grandchildren, Kayleigh Osborne, Karley Jo Osborne, Kameron Maple, Baylee Howard, Brooke Howard, Jordan Howard, Cole Maple, Brock Maple, Braxton Maple, Elizabeth Maple, and Harley Maple. Also surviving are her brothers, Tom Workman, of Mt. Olive, KY and Jim Workman, of Portsmouth; sister, Marta Hale, of Portsmouth; great-grandchild, Juniper Ivy Osborne, along with several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Friends may call Sunday, March 31, 2019 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill. Funeral services will be held Monday April 1, 2019 at 12 noon at the funeral home with Pastor Brian Mallott and Steve Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Horeb Cemetery.
