James (Jim) Edward Price, age 80, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 7, 2019 at Lower Cape Fear Hospice & Life Care Center.
Jim was born on Oct. 13, 1938 in Oceana, West Virginia to Gene and Delphia Price.
He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Azbell Price; son, John Price (Zophia); daughter, Maria Price; step-sons, Jason Azbell (Leslie), and Chris Azbell (Tiffany); and grandchildren, Zoe Azbell, Gunnar Azbell, Zaira Johnson, and Will Long.
Also surviving are his two sisters, Melba (Bob) Reno and Ann Shelton and brother, Steve Price. James is also survived by many more beloved family and friends.
Jim was a well-known former resident of Jackson, Ohio, where he lived and worked for many years. He also worked at Eagle Loan in Chillicothe, Ohio and was a mentor to many. He will be missed by many including his lifelong friends and all his golf buddies.

A “Celebration of Life” will be held on Sunday, March 31 beginning at 1 p.m., at the Wallace Funeral Home, located at 159 Central Avenue, Barboursville, WV 25504.
