Jack D. Dailey, Sr.

Jack D. Daily Sr., age 82, of Coalton, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 20, 2020 at the Four Winds Community in Jackson. Jack was born on Dec. 13, 1937 in Ross County, Ohio.

He is the eldest son of the late Elmer H. Daily and Garnet M. Quick. He was a life-long resident of Jackson County. He was a Navy veteran, and a truck driver for more than 35 years. He loved watching football, NASCAR, and old westerns.

He was preceded in death by his youngest son, Steven Daily, his father, mother, and sister Kathleen.

He is survived by his sons: Jack (Lisa) Daily of South Point, Ohio and Dean Daily of Jackson; grandchildren: Bethany, Steven, Jarrod and Garret; six great-grandchildren; his brothers: Dick and Robert “Bumper” Daily; sisters: Margie, Judy, Virginia and Sue. Also surviving are his nieces, nephews and his long-time friend, Mary Ann, and her family.

Jack was a fun-loving guy who was always the life of the party. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral arrangements are pending at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home in Jackson.
