Helen M. Woodruff, age 96 of Ray, passed away on Friday July 14th, 2017 at Valley View Care Center in Frankfort, Ohio. She was born to the late John Hill and Margaret (Raglin) Hill in Ward, West Virginia on October 6, 1920.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Wendell Woodruff; daughters, Carolyn Daniels and Kimberly Yearing, four brothers and two sisters.
Helen is survived by one daughter, Connie Woodruff and a granddaughter, Tiffany Daniels.
Helen liked to sew and quilt. She was a member of Fairview Christian Church at Tick Ridge where she enjoyed singing.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday July 18th at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home from 1:00-2:00 p.m. with funeral service at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Ronnie Warrens and Pastor Butch Cooper officiating. Burial to follow at Hilltop Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home in Jackson.
