Hazel Bruton, age 84, of Jackson, Ohio, passed away Thursday, Nov. 30, 2017 at Heartland of Jackson. Hazel was born July 3, 1933 to the late Thomas and Myrtle (Perkins) Salyers. She loved reading, gardening, family and her grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Bruton; three brothers, five sisters and a son-in-law, Victor Artz.
Hazel leaves behind daughter, Karen Artz and grandchildren: Alicia, Allison, William and Arron Robinson; very special nieces; Beverly (Brinton) McGowan; Donna (William) Roseberry and Millie (Philip) Russell.
Friends will be received at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home on Sunday, Dec. 3 from 4 to 8 p.m. Funeral service will be at the funeral home Monday, Dec. 4 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Jorge Anido officiating. Burial will follow at Hickman Cemetery.
