Glennes P. Jones, age 69, of Oak Hill, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at the VA Medical Center of Chillicothe. He was born to the late Glennes and Norma J. (Henson) Jones on August 3rd, 1946 in Springfield, Ohio and was raised and lived in the Catawba, Ohio area before moving to Oak Hill.
Glennes was a retired Service Garage Manager at City Center International of Columbus. He was a veteran of the United States Army in which he served during Vietnam. He enjoyed working with wood, traveling, and history. He will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Ewers-Jones; three sons: Charles P. (Rhonda) Jones, Daniel E. (Michelle) Jones, and Christopher L. (Christe) Jones; and their mother, Ruth A. Jones; nine grandchildren; one great-grandson; brothers: Edwin A. (Brenda) Jones and Ricky A. (Angie) Jones; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews; as well as many, many friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia A. (Jones) Ricketts; and brother-in-law, James J. Ricketts.
