Glenn F. Orender

Glenn F. Orender, age 71, of Wellston, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2019 at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe, Ohio. He was born May 2, 1947 in Buenavista, Virginia, son of the late Rufus Glenn Orender and Gladys Irene Hartless Orender.

Glenn was a former employee of Goodyear Tire and Rubber, where he was employed for 33 years. He was an avid fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes, who loved fishing, hunting and racing, but most of all Glenn enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Lynn Lambert Orender; sons, Glenn Franklin Orender II and Eric Orender, both of Wellston; grandchildren, Derrick Orender, Harley Martin, Gwendolyn Orender, Brailey Orender, Destinee Orender and Preston Orender; sisters, Donna Camden (Eddie), Bonnie Wallace (Jeff), Betty Hamilton (Randy), Elizabeth Camden (Phillip), and Judy Fitzgerald, all of Virginia; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, including good close friends, Michael and Kathy Pickett and George and Sandy Coleman.

Besides his parents, Glenn was preceded in death by his brother, Wayne Eugene Orender.

Calling hours will be Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston. Funeral service will follow the calling hours at 2 p.m. with Pastor Jack Hughes officiating.
