Glada Mae (Barker) Jenkins, age 93, of Oak Hill, Ohio, passed away March 27, 2020. She was born July 3, 1926 to the late Alba Barker and Velma (Dearing) Barker.
She is survived by two sons: Jay H. (Nancy) Jenkins of Oak Hill, Ohio and Timothy L. (Teresa) Jenkins of Jackson, Ohio; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dwight H. Jenkins and sister, Rozona Lloyd.
She retired from Holzer Medical Center in Gallipolis, Ohio. After retiring, she enjoyed spending time with her family and she and Dwight traveled extensively throughout the U.S. and foreign countries. She also enjoyed writing poetry and working crossword puzzles.
