Gary D. Brewer, age 69, of Wellston, passed away Friday, Sept. 29, 2017 at Edgewood Manor in Wellston. He was born May 9, 1948 in Gallipolis, Ohio to the late Archie Dewain Brewer and Lura Electa Hamrick Duffy. Gary was a welder at the former McNally Pittsburg Manufacturing in Wellston for several years, and he enjoyed fishing, hunting and visiting with his family.
He is survived by two sons, Bryan Brewer of Canton and Ron Brewer of Laurelville; sister, Brenda Brewer Smith of Jackson; niece, Kim LeMay of Ray; nephew, Jeff Smith of Wellston; great-nephews, Austin and Connor Bennett, along with several grandchildren.
