Garnetta D. “Bunny” Brown

Garnetta D. “Bunny” Brown, age 59, of Wellston, passed away Sunday, August 26, 2012, at the Holzer Medical Center in Gallipolis, Ohio. She was born November 18, 1952 in Clark County, Ohio, the daughter of the late Charles Fletcher and Helen Mitchell Webb.

Bunny was a former employee of General Mills for 25 years. She was an avid bingo player, enjoyed bowling and was an awesome grandma.

She is survived by her three sons, Bob Brown (Carol Mae) of Hamden, Rick Brown of Wellston and Greg Brown of Wellston; five grandchildren, Austin, Dakota, Evan, Garrett and Brandon; two sisters, Martha Sorrell of Wilkesville and Dee Shipman of Springfield; three brothers, Charles Fletcher of Glen Roy, Terry Fletcher of Glen Roy and Donald Fletcher of Springfield; special friend, Glenna Peoples of Wellston, as well as her beloved pet, Zeus and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by sister, Ruthie Webb and her loving aunt and uncle, Bertha and Gerald Peoples.

Calling hours will be Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston. Funeral services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Ridgewood Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to the family at: www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com.
