Evelyn Beatrice Durham (“Snookie”), age 85, of Jackson, Ohio, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her family.  She was born Feb. 6, 1935 in Scioto County to the late Estel and Marjorie Louise Burgess Jarvis. 

Snookie was a 20-year employee at Walmart where she enjoyed meeting and talking to all the people. She was a member of the Bethesda Chapel Church and loved to play games.  Most importantly, she loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children: Anita (Jerry) Trisch, John (Connie) Durham and Teresa (Joseph) Robinson; and sister, Brenda Jarvis Williams.  Also surviving are several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Raymond Edward Durham; granddaughter: Angel Dana Rose Robinson; great-grandson: James Briley Raymond Conley; and eight brothers and sisters.

Family will receive friends Tuesday, March 17, 2020 from 2 to 8 p.m. at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home.  Graveside funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at the White Gravel Cemetery with Pastor Dan King officiating.
