Eva Christine Herald, age 91, of Oak Hill, Ohio, passed away Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Four Winds of Jackson. She was born Sept. 3, 1926 in Isonville, Kentucky to the late Owen Damon and Tora Emily (Daniels) Ison.
She is survived by her son, Larry (Debbie) Herald of Oak Hill, Ohio; special nephew, Paul Hopper of Columbus, Ohio; brother, Damon Ison of Wilmington, Ohio; granddaughters: Kelly (Stephen) Stout and Kimberly (David) Johnson of Oak Hill, Ohio; two great-grandchildren: Madison Johnson and Connor Stout of Oak Hill, Ohio; as well as several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Pearl Herald on Feb. 19, 1994; as well as her brother, Gussie Ison; and two sisters, Alice Hopper and Goldie Fannin.

Viewing will be held on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill. Funeral services will immediately follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Mark Price officiating. Interment will follow in Horeb Cemetery.
