Dorothy Mae Sharp, age 82, of Oak Hill, passed away Friday, February 17, 2017 at Holzer Medical Center in Jackson. She was born September 7, 1934 in Waterloo, Ohio to the late Herchell and Margaret (Miller) Null.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Orville Sharp; son, Douglas Sharp; great grandson, Hunter Moon and her brother, Jim Null.
She is survived by her sons, Marvin (Sharon) Sharp, of Houston, Texas, Richard Sharp, of Oak Hill, Everett (Diana) Sharp, of Oak Hill and Robert (Peggy) Sharp, of Springfield, Ohio. Also surviving is her sister, Dora Phares, brother, Paul Null; ten grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
Calling hours will be held Sunday, February 19, 2017 from 12:00-2:00 PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill. A funeral service will follow immediately after calling hours at 2:00 PM with Pastor Stan Howard officiating. Burial will follow in C.M. Cemetery.
