Donna Shotts

Donna Shotts, age 69, of Wellston, passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at her home. She was born August 28, 1945 in Springfield, Ohio to the late Robert Steinburger and Alberta Ritter Steinburger Leigh.

Donna was a food service employee for the Wellston City Schools for 19 years, working most recently at Bundy Elementary. She was a member of the Coalton Free Will Baptist Church; member of OAPSE; active volunteer for Secret Santa; and was a former 4-H advisor for many years.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, David L. Shotts, Sr.; children, Debbie Roberts, (George) of Wellston, David L. Shotts, Jr. (Kendra) of Wellston and Dohn Shotts, (Jody) of Wellston, as well as 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents, Donna was preceded in death by her step-father, John David Leigh.

Calling hours will be Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston. Funeral service will be Friday at 1 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Simpson and Pastor Robert Fulton officiating. Burial will be in the Ridgewood Cemetery.
