Donald E. “Duck” Boyer

Donald E. “Duck” Boyer, 51, of Wilmington, formerly of Wellston, passed away on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at his residence. He was born on Nov. 27, 1965 in Oak Hill, Ohio, son of the late Donald Eugene Arthur and Beula Fern (Perry) Arthur.

Duck was a hard worker who was currently employed with TimberTech in Wilmington. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with his grand-kids.

He is survived by his children: Sarah Abbott, Nicole Boyer, Donald Matthew Boyer, Harley Boyer, and Mercedes (George) Lewis; nine grandchildren and one on the way; two brothers, Gene Boyer and Pete Arthur; two sisters, Lynn (Sammy Jo) Howell and Ann (Nicole) VanDyke; uncle, Eddie Arthur; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

In addition to his parents, Duck was preceded in death by his brother, Ryan Arthur; sister, Rachel Stacey; niece, Samantha Howell; and great-niece, Jocelyn.

The family will receive friends at R.M. Williams Funeral Service, 120 W. Broadway St., Wellston on Monday, May 15, 2017 from 12 to 1 p.m., where a funeral service celebrating Duck’s life will follow commencing at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in Pattonsville Cemetery.
