Delbert F. “Hank” Canter

Delbert F. “Hank” Canter, age 81, of Beaver Pike passed away Monday, August 10, 2015. He was born October 23, 1933 in McArthur, Ohio to the late Willard and Edna (Riffle) Canter.

Hank was a Veteran of the United States Army and served during both WW II and the Korean Conflict.

He is survived by his wife, Kathleen K. (Whaley) Canter; four children: Bobbi (Jimmy) Iricks of Betsy Layne, Kentucky; William (Chantell) Canter of Cincinnati, Ohio, Larry Canter of Betsy Layne, Kentucky, and Tony (Melody) Canter of Jackson, Ohio; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three sisters, Juanita Bowen of Jackson, Ohio, Sharon Kearns of Jackson, Ohio, and Gay Wiseman of Marysville, Ohio; nine brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; as well as several nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, August 14, 2015 from 2 to 8 p.m. at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson. A service will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2015 at 1 p.m. with Rev.
