David Alan Mullins

David Alan Mullins, age 44, of Wellston, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 25, 2019, at his home.  He was born April 1, 1975 in Gallipolis, Ohio to Robert R. Mullins and Sandra L. Clark Mullins. 

David was a 1993 graduate of Wellston High School and continued his education by receiving an Associate’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Rio Grande.  He was a welder, who was a former employee of Frick-Gallagher Manufacturing in Wellston. 

David loved running his beagle dogs, hunting and car racing.  He also enjoyed participating in demolition derby events, but his most enjoyment came from spending time with his kids.  David attended Grace Baptist Fellowship Church in Wellston.

He is survived by his parents, Robert and Sandy Mullins; children, Brooklyn Machea Mullins and Brenden Micheal Mullins; sister and brother-in-law, Julie and Rob Kemp; mother of his children, Amy Mullins; special friend and grandmother of his children, Vicki Ousley; aunt, Patty Massie; uncle, Don Mullins; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, including special cousin, Jake Walburn. 

David was preceded in death by his brother, Rob Mullins; and grandparents, Jim and Beatrice Clark and John and Bertie Mullins. 

Calling hours will be Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.  Funeral service will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Jones officiating.  Burial will follow in the Ridgewood Cemetery.
