Daisy Ethel McGhee, age 87, of Jackson, Ohio, went home to the Lord on Sunday, Dec. 31, 2017. She was born March 7, 1930 in Coalton, Ohio to the late James and Sadie (Green) Vititoe.
Daisy is survived by her children: Debbie (Everett) Grow, Chuck (Joann) McGhee, Eddie (Sharon) McGhee, Rick (Sis) McGhee, Gary (Norma) McGhee, Etta McGhee, and Donnie McGhee; grandchildren: Tina (Darren) Mapes, Chad (Julie) Grow, Lisa (JB) Bevins, Stephanie (Kevin) Dulaney, Chucky McGhee, Melissa (Patrick) Ball, Branden (Amy) McGhee, Stevie (Rhonda) Martin, Jeff (Nicki) Martin, Angie (Dink) Perry, Michelle (John) Sisson, Cindy (Marty) Bentley, Mandy (John) McGhee, Greggy (Andrea) Erwin, Jesse (LaTasha) Erwin, Justin (Beth) Erwin, Dusty (Alisha) Erwin, Erik (Rhiahna) McGhee, Jessica Harrison, Brian Harrison, Erica (Jon) Stevison, and Aaron (Shaun) McGhee; 44 great-grandchildren; her furbaby, Baby; as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles “Bus” McGhee; brothers, James and Franklin Vititoe; and sisters, Pauline O’Brien, Gertrude Drake, and Betty Waugh; along with children: Vicki and Tammy McGhee, Diane Martin, and Roger McGhee.
Friends will be received Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2018 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2018 at 11 a.m. with Rev.
