Cheryl M. Bolen, age 69, of Jackson, passed away Wednesday evening, March 4, 2015, at her home. She was born October 5, 1945 in Pyro, Ohio to the late William and Gladys Rainer Staten.
Cheryl was a 1963 graduate of Oak Hill High School and a graduate of the LPN Program of Portsmouth City Schools. In 2007, she retired from Heartland of Jackson, where she was employed for a total of 37 years; 35 years as a licensed practical nurse and her last two years as Heartland’s HR Manager. Besides nursing, Cheryl’s enjoyment in life was being with her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Donald H. Bolen, Sr.; son, Donald H. Bolen, Jr., and his wife, Michelle, of Logan, as well as several other family members and friends.
Calling hours will be Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston. Funeral service will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home with Pastor Phil Stevens officiating. Burial will be in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Jackson.
