Charles Kevin Forrest, age 57, of Wellston, passed away on Monday, Jan. 9, 2017 at Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. He was born in Nelsonville, Ohio on Jan. 31, 1959 to the late Charles and Patricia (McKnight) Forrest.
He is survived by his wife, Nicki (Lilly) Forrest; a son, Jordan Mash; a daughter, Patricia Forrest; a brother, Leslie “Butch” Forrest; and six sisters: Karen Riley, Diane Forrest, Renee Sigler, Linda Waddell, Lorrie Singleton and Candy McKee. Also surviving are three step-children: Natasha Walker, Shane Rose and Kevin Richie; and five step-grandchildren: James, Johnathon, Jailynn, Raymond and Hunter.
Charles enjoyed fishing, hunting and being outdoors.
Funeral services will held at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home in Jackson on Thursday, Jan. 19, at 12 p.m. (noon). The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Thursday from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Burial will follow at Fairmount Cemetery in Jackson.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home to help with the funeral expenses.
