Carol A. (Graham) Buck

Carol A. (Graham) Buck, age 96, of Jackson, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2018 at Holzer Assisted Living in Jackson. She was born on Aug. 16, 1922 in Jackson County to the late Isaiah McKinley Graham and Hazel Mae (Bloom) Graham.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul E. Buck and her brother, Donivan Graham.

Carol was a 1941 graduate of Jackson High School. She was employed by Ray’s Drug Store, M & E Jewelry, Oak Hill Bank and was a self-employed seamstress. Carol was a member of the Christ United Methodist Church in Jackson and a past member of the Lioness Club.

She is survived by her son, Paul Donivan (Carole) Buck of Fort Wayne, Indiana; her daughters, Jacque Yinger of Jackson and Lisa Joan (Gerald) Entler of Jackson; eight grandchildren: Shannon (Donald) Griffin, Paul D. Buck II, Alison Yinger, Matthew (June) Evans, Julie (Gene) Folden, Larry Yinger Jr., Heather Entler and Nickolas Buck; 10 great-grandchildren: Alana Moore, Reaghann Folden, Ryan Folden, Makenna Folden, Kenzie Evans, Collin Folden, Madelyn Evans, Zoe Buck, Lucy and Graham Yinger; her sister, Eugenia Luttrell and a cousin, Joanne Collins.

A funeral service will be held at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home on Sunday, Sept. 23, 2018 at 2 p.m. with Pastor Jay Madigan. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
