Burl “Fred” Rollins

Burl “Fred” Rollins, age 76, of Jackson, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2019 at his home. He was born Nov. 30, 1942 in Clendenin, West Virginia to the late Burl and Bessie (Campbell) Rollins.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Sharlene Rollins; son, Patrick Wayne Rollins; daughters, Lisa Kay Rollins and Angela Marie Rollins; sons-in-law, Mark Metters and Todd Hanks; sisters, Imojean Tinsley and Gay Waddle; brother, Vaughn (Ruth) Rollins; grandchildren: Heather Marie Rollins, Cierra (Chase) Carroll, Mark Alan Metters, Amanda Summers, and Christopher Rollins; great-grandchildren: Alyssa Rollins, Haylee Rollins, Anthony Meginnis, Alana Johnson, Rue Stafford, Colton Carroll, Calli Carroll, and Aiden Rollins; nephew, Dale (Vicki) Clark; and daughter-in-law, Stephanie Rollins.

 In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Fredrick James Rollins; grandson, Timothy Lee Rollins; and sisters, Opal Allman and Lexie Higginbotham.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, Feb. 8, 2019 at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson. Per his wishes, there will be no funeral service held. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Online condolences may be sent to www.lewisgillum.com
