Brenda J. Vance, age 67, of Jackson, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 4, 2019 at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe. She was born in Columbus, Ohio on Nov. 16, 1951 to the late Luther and Quindonna (Withror) Davis. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Vance, and brothers: Tommy and Frankie Davis.
She is survived by her sons: Danny (Tammy) Davis and Terry Vance; daughter, Donnia Vance; grandchildren: Kimberly, Haley, Danny Ray, Dillon, Cole and Josie; great-grandchildren: Kaleb, Bryanna and Darryn; and a sister, Reva Crist.
Brenda was a cleaning freak – she wanted everyone and everything to be neat and presentable. She was a great cook – her food would melt in your mouth. She enjoyed shopping, flea markets, auctions and BINGO. On top of all that, she worried about everyone.
Funeral services we be held at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home on Thursday, Aug. 8 at 2 p.m., with Bill Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends three hours prior to the service from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.
