Brenda Collins, age 70, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2018. She was born in Oak Hill, Ohio on Nov. 23, 1947 to the late John and Viola (Crabtree) Gray.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Walter Gray, John Gray, Jack Gray and sisters, Janet Gray and Geraldine Crabtree.
She is survived by her daughters, Carla (Brian) Cox, of Oak Hill, Cynthia Collins, of Oak Hill, Courtney (Jerry) Nichols, of Oak Hill; her significant other, John Howard, of Oak Hill; brothers, Gary Gray, of Oak Hill, Kenny (Charlotte) Gray, of Morrow, Ohio; sisters, Dorothy Kelly, of Morrow, Ohio and Betty Jaynes, of Pickerington, Ohio. Also surviving are grandchildren, Justin Harrison, Lindsay (James) Chambers, Alli Campbell, Colton Cox, Kyle Cox, Madison Campbell and Tatum Nichols; great-grandchildren, Quentin Chambers, Cinnie Shepard, Raidyn Campbell, Addie Campbell, Kasin Chambers, Kegan Campbell and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Brenda retired from CVS Pharmacy and then spent her retirement years with her grandchildren, which she truly loved. To all of them and many of their friends, she was their “nan”.
Friends may call Saturday, Sept. 8, 2018 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill. Funeral services will immediately follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastors Stan Howard and Dave Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in Horeb Cemetery.
