Betty June Dunn, age 86, of Jackson, passed away Thursday, March 15, 2012, at Edgewood Manor of Wellston. She was born March 7, 1926 in Reynoldsburg, Ohio, the daughter of the late Vergil Leslie Wallace and Clara May Stonerock Wallace. Betty was a former employee of Radio Shack in Columbus. She was a member of the Jackson Baptist Temple and the Jackson Senior Citizens.
She is survived by her children, Otis Young of Sandusky, George Young of Sandusky, Joseph “Dale” (Lou Ann) Dunn of Jackson and Alice (Sam) Aldrich of Lucasville; step-daughter, Evelyn (John) Martin of Arizona, as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Brosia Dunn; children, Ed Young, Virginia Hunter and Rick Dunn; step-son, Ed Dunn; grandson, Tony Ironton; brother, Bob Stonerock and sister, Pansy Siders.
Calling hours will be Sunday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston. Funeral services will be Monday at 10:30 a.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home with Pastor Allen Gibson officiating. Burial will be at 1 p.m. at the Concord Cemetery in Grove City.
