Bertha Marie Dalton, age 84, of Wellston, passed away Thursday, March 22, 2012, at Edgewood of Lucasville. She was born September 23, 1927 in Oreton, Ohio, the daughter of the late Charles and Ellen Graham Wiseman. Bertha was a homemaker and attended the former Wills Chapel Church.
She is survived by son, Carroll Dalton of Cincinnati; daughter, Cathy Essman of Wellston; grandchildren, James Essman and Holly Essman, both of Wellston and Jason Dalton and Tara Dalton, both of Cincinnati; great-granddaughter, Larrin Essman of McDermott; brother, Harold Wiseman of Helena, Oh.; sisters, Marcella Schlivert and Flora Ragan, both of Woodville, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James F. Dalton in 1986, and her siblings, Lottie Webb, Alfred Wiseman, Andrew Wiseman, Pansy Garvin, Anise Yates and Madge Thomas.
