Bertha Irene Williams

Bertha Irene Williams, age 92 of Jackson, passed away Saturday, November 10, 2018 at the Four Winds Nursing Facility. She was born August 7, 1926 in Franklin County, Ohio to the late Clarence Kight and Marcella Hatfield Kight Miller. She was the first and longest member of the Coalton Freewill Baptist Church. She greeted everyone with a smile and never had an enemy. She loved the Lord and her church, cooking, and she loved her family dearly.

She is survived by daughters: Ruth “Joan” (Marvin) Cutlip and Joyce Ellen (Jerry) Bentley, brothers and sisters: Helen McCray, Robert (Nancy) Kight, Ronald (Betty) Kight and Patricia Robinson, 4 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, 9 great-great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers: Wayne Kight, Ralph Kight, Richard Kight, sisters: Maxine Gallicchio, Kay Walker Keller and Rita Poe, sister-in-law: Sandy Kight, brother-in-laws: Joe Gallicchio, Donald McCray, Jimmy Robinson, Melvin Keller and Marlin Poe.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm Tuesday, November 13, 2018, at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Simpson and Robert Fulton officiating and burial to follow in the Evergreen Cemetery. Family will receive friends Tuesday, from 11am up to the time of the funeral.
