Crystal L. Jeffers, 76, of Albany, passed away Sunday June 21, 2015 at Heartland of Jackson.
Born in Jackson County, November 7, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Betty Bayes Henry. She was retired from Vinton County Board of Elections, having been director for 30 years, and Crystal also loved to play Bingo.
She is survived by a son, Terry Lee Jeffers, and daughter, Lisa L. Jeffers; grandchildren, Andy Pauley, Aaron Jeffers and Sara Pelfrey; great-grandchildren, Gabrielle and Bell Pelfrey, Natalie Pauley and Tristen Jeffers; sisters, Linda Henry and Tammy Wires; and brothers, Butch (Margie) Bayes, Larry Henry and Pat Henry.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Jeffers; and a great-grandson, Hayden Pelfrey.
Services will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Bigony-Jordan Funeral Home, with Rev. Ed Barney officiating. Burial will be in Bowen Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. You may sign her register book at www.bigonyjordanfuneralhome.com
