Douglas Dean Ward, 54, of McArthur, passed away Thursday, April 23, 2015 at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe. He was born February 23, 1961 in Logan, son of Clarence “Beanie” and Jean Sowers Ward of McArthur.
Doug was an expeditor.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Valerie (Mike) Dixon of McArthur; nephew, Michael (Allison) Dixon of McArthur; niece, Wendy (Thomas) Peoples of Hamden and numerous other relatives.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 26, 2015 in the McArthur Church of the Nazarene, 523 N. Market Street, McArthur, with Rev. Jim Taylor and Pastor Jesse Reynolds officiating. No visitation will be held. Arrangements are by Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.
