Mary K. McGlone

Mary K. McGlone, of South Webster passed away Tuesday April 14, 2015 at SOMC Hospice Center surrounded by her loving family. She was born May 5, 1929 in Oak Hill a daughter of the late James and Lulu Kuhn Betts of Oak Hill. She drove a school bus for 32 years for the Bloom Vernon School District and was a member of the Pilgram Wesleyan Church at South Webster.

Mary is survived by seven children, Carl E. McGlone of South Webster, Eugenia Queen of South Webster, Gertrude and Gene Clark of Jackson, Lulu and Wes Loper of Columbus, Rosemary and Elza Fisher of Jackson, James A. McGlone II and fiancé Sondra Bruce of Sciotoville and Mary F. Hughes of South Webster; 21 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren and two sisters, Betty Sharp Curtis of Jackson and Geraldine Conley of Ironton.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband James A. McGlone; brother James Robert Betts; son-in-law Elmer Queen; and a daughter-in-law Jackie Niece McGlone.

Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday April 18, at Pilgram Wesleyn Church in South Webster with Pastor Mary Hughes officiating. Interment will follow at C. M. Cemetery in Oak Hill. Visitation will be Friday 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at D.W. Swick Funeral Home in South Webster and Saturday 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. at the church.
