Linda D. Tedrow, age 65, of Hamden, passed away Saturday, February 21, 2015, at the Holzer Medical Center in Gallipolis, Ohio. She was born October 18, 1949 in Conestee, South Carolina to the late George A. Hughey and Edna Essie Cisom Hughey.
Linda was a homemaker who enjoyed designing and making quilts, sewing and fishing. She was a member of the American Legion Post #371 Ladies Auxiliary, a former District President and member of the V.F.W. Post #9092 Auxiliary, member of the Vinton County Senior Citizens, and a member of the Moose Lodge #749 in Greenville, SC.
Linda is survived by her husband, Donald W. Tedrow of Hamden; sisters, Shelby Jumper and Hazel Lee, both of Greenville County, SC; brother, Leroy Hughey of Greenville County, SC; sister-in-law, Betty Dobbins of Hamden, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Doris Davenport.
It was Linda’s wishes not to have any services locally, but to have graveside services at the Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Greenville, SC. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate contributions in Linda’s name be given to the V.F.W. Post #9092 Ladies Auxiliary, 19 East Broadway, Wellston, Ohio 45692.
