Roger Frank French, son of Frank and Margaret (Snyder) French, was born in Oak Hill, Ohio on April 20, 1943. On Tuesday, January 20, 2015, Roger departed this life while surrounded by his loved ones: Nancy, Karen, Big, and Suzie.
Roger was a wonderful, caring father to Karen (French) White, Roger “Big” French Jr., and Suzie (French) Adkins; companion to Nancy (Coon) French; greatest grandfather to Kyle, Devin, and Cody Crabtree, Kailey and Reagan Adkins, and Madison French; brother, Mike (Rosella) French; sister, Yolanda (Arnold) Hilderbrant; as well as several nieces, nephews, and friends.
In addition to parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Wendell and Keith French; and nephew, Kevin French.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2015 at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill from 2 to 8 p.m. A service will be held on Friday, January 23, 2015 at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Stan Howard officiating. Burial will follow at Horeb Cemetery.
