Janet G. Rowe was called home on November 15, 2014 with her husband and daughter at her bedside and final moments of loving messages from her sons.

She was born on January 28, 1937 in Jackson, Ohio. She married her high school sweetheart, Harold R. “Puck” Rowe Sr. on May 27, 1956. Janet is survived by her husband and four grown children, Rich (Carol) Rowe of Findlay, Randy (Diane) Rowe of Cummings, GA and Bristol, PA, Brian (Karen) Rowe of Cincinnati, and Jill Molnar (Bud Butler) of Maumee. She is also survived by her wonderful grandchildren, Michael and Kelly Rowe, Courtney (Craig) Brisson, Katherine and Isabelle Rowe, Sam and Nate Molnar. She was preceded in death by her parents, James F. and Lurline C. Krumm, her only sibling, James B. (Mary) Krumm, and a grandson, Kyle Rowe.

Janet was a sister-in-law to Nancy and Dale Wickline, Peggy and Rich Lanier, Dianne and Jimmie Moore, all of Jackson, Ohio; Marilyn Brown of Powell, Ohio; Roger and Connie Rowe of Delaware, Ohio, Frank “Goose” McGhee of Temple Terrace, Florida and a sister-in-law, Mary Krumm, Chillicothe, Ohio.

Janet was employed at Bowling Green State University for 25 years as the Intramural Administrative Assistant until her retirement in 1998. Janet was a very devoted, wonderful and beautiful wife, caring and loving mother, grandmother, and sister-in-law. She was always willing to lend a hand to her family and many friends. She loved cooking, especially her favorite and delicious noodles for the family; arts and crafts, her flower gardens, knitting, reading, and watching Westerns. She also enjoyed music, especially Christmas music. Her favorite hymn was “How Great Thou Art.” Janet was a member of St. Andrews United Methodist Church.

Memorials can be made to the Northwest Ohio Alzheimer’s Association, Hancock Historical Museum or the charity of choice. Visitation will be at the Kirkpatrick-Behnke Funeral Home, 500 Lima Avenue, Findlay, Ohio 45840, on November 25 between the hours of 2 and 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m.

Funeral services will be held at St. Andrews United Methodist Church at 11 a.m. on November 26, with Minister of Pastoral Care Marlena Graves officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Findlay, Ohio. Online condolences may be sent via www.kirkpatrickbehnke.com
