Frank Wells Lundy

Frank Wells Lundy, age 76 of Jackson, passed away on October 27, 2014 at Southern Ohio Medical Center Hospice Unit in Portsmouth, Ohio. He was born on October 7, 1938 in Scioto County to the late Eugene and Pearl (Bowman) Shoemaker Lundy. Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Garry Lundy; step-brother Carl Shoemaker; step-sister, Thelma Shoemaker; grandson, Kyle Curnutte; and son-in-law, Bill Curnutte.

He is survived by his sons: Brian (Cheryl) Lundy and Stephen Wells Lundy (Regina Schuler); daughter, Rebecca Lundy Curnutte; grandchildren: Kyla Curnutte, Eric Lundy, Brittany Nicole Martin, Jennifer (John) Dvorak; great-grandchildren: Mikenzie, Mikayla, Mikendra and Jackson; brothers: Larry Lundy, Tommy (Cecellia) Lundy, Roy (Janet) Lundy, Ray (Mildred) Lundy, Paul (Nancy) Lundy; sister, Ruth Willis; step-brother, Stewart (Barbara) Shoemaker, Jr., and sisters-in-law: Delores Lundy Jackson and Carolyn Shoemaker.

Frank retired from the Grand Trunk Railroad, where he was a machinist.

Friends will be received at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 29, from 4 to 8 p.m. Funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Thursday, October 30 at 11 a.m., with Pastor Jim Dummitt officiating. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery.
