Laura F. Estep, 65, of Springfield, passed away Monday, October 13, 2014 in Springfield Regional Medical Center. She was born June 3, 1949 in Jackson, Ohio, the daughter of Richard P. and Byrda (Browning) Timmons.
Mrs. Estep attended Maiden Lane Church of God and was a member of the Union Club, the Eagles in Springfield and Jackson and the V.F.W. in Jackson. Laura enjoyed doing crafts and painting. She had been employed at Woolworths, WalMart and Tech II.
Survivors include two sons; Stephen (Deborah) Estep and Larry Alan (Alayna) Estep, Springfield, four grandchildren; Kimberly Estep, Jessica Young, Brittany Estep and Joshua Estep; siblings, Laberta “Biddy” Timmons, Jackson, Richard (Beverly) Timmons, Hillsboro, James (Donna) Timmons, Alpine, CA, Rosemary (Fred) Estep, Springfield, Jennifer (Steve) Dragoo, Hilliard, Helen (Cecil) Smith, Springfield, Phil (Kathy), New Carlisle and Angie (Mike) Linkenhoker, Zephyr Hills, FL and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband; Stephen Estep, July, 2000, her parents and siblings; Paulette Shy, Paul Edward Timmons and Carla Timmons.
Visitation will be held from 5 p.m.- 8 p.m. Thursday in the Jones-Kenney-Zechman Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the funeral home with Laura’s Aunt Cheryl Browning officiating. Entombment will follow in Rose Hill Mausoleum.
