Douglas Lamb Sr.

Douglas Lamb Sr., 44, of Hamden, passed away Monday, September 22, 2014, at Arcadia Acres near Logan. The son of Arnold (Shirley) Lamb of McArthur, he was born March 17, 1970, at Nelsonville. Douglas had been employed at Bellisio Foods.

In addition to his father, Douglas is survived by his sons, Douglas L. Lamb Jr. (Mary Kay) who is stationed in Florida as he serves in the Air Force, Skyler Lamb of Hamden and Matthew (Polly) Morris of Wellston; a daughter, Stephanie (Wayne) Barnette; and his eight grandchildren. Other survivors include his brother, Barry (Marilyn) Primmer of New Plymouth; a sister, Pamela (Steve) McCathern of Athens; his aunts and uncles; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; and his special friends, Pam and Ruby. He was preceded in death by his mother, Vicki.

Calling hours will be Friday from noon to 2 p.m. at the Prattsville Church. A funeral service, officiated by Pastor Don Lamb, will follow at the completion of calling. Burial will be in the Prattsville Cemetery. Arrangements for Douglas Lee Lamb Sr. have been entrusted to the Huntley & Cremeens Funeral Home.
