Stephen Franklin Byus, age 39, of Reynoldsburg, and a former resident of Wellston, died Tuesday, September 16, 2014, in Kabul, Afghanistan, from injuries received from a suicide bomber attack near his location.
He is survived by his wife, Valerie Fouty Byus; children, Alexandrea, age 9 and Jacob, age 6; parents, Randall W. Byus (Bonnie) and Suzanna Price Byus, both of Wellston; brothers, Matthew Byus (Samantha) of Vermont, and Daniel and Randall J. Byus, both of Wellston; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Clifton and Donna Fouty of Jackson; sister-in-law, Angie Remy (Larry DesJardins) of Gahanna, and brother-in-law, David Fouty (Peggy) of South Carolina.
Service details are pending and will be announced by the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston when available.
