Jeffrey “Jeff” Wayne Lenegar

Jeffrey “Jeff” Wayne Lenegar, 63, of Wellston, passed away on Friday, September 5, 2014, at Riverside Methodist Hospital ER in Columbus, Ohio. He was born in McArthur, Ohio, on June 12, 1951, son of Joseph B. Lenegar who passed away October 27, 1989, and Myrna Henry Lenegar of Wellston. He was a former employee of the Frick-Gallagher Manufacturing Company in Wellston. He loved to hunt and fish and raise his chickens in his spare time.

Besides his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Michael J. Lenegar on July 28, 2011, and a step-daughter, Dora Ewing.

Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife, Rosa Dean Gillem Lenegar; three daughters, Nicki and Tiffany Lenegar of Columbus, Ohio, and Jessica Lenegar of Chillicothe, Ohio; his sister, Vicki Pelletier of Wellston; sister-in-law, Tammy Lenegar of Wellston; nieces and nephews; and two step-grandchildren, Tabitha Benitez of Kansas and Tina Funk of Middletown, Ohio.

Jeff requested cremation follow his death. The family invites friends to the Ridgewood Cemetery in Wellston on Monday, September 15, at 1 p.m. or a graveside memorial service honoring the life of Jeff. Pastor Wilford Gillem will officiate the service. Arrangements are by the Jenkins Funeral Chapel, Wellston.
