Christine Rosetta (Watson) Boyd, age 78, of Blackfork, Ohio, passed away Friday, August 15, 2014 at Holzer Medical Center of Jackson. She was born February 13, 1936 in Oak Hill, to the late Adrian “Jack” and Marie Stella (Patterson) Watson. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her son, John C. Boyd (Barbarina Davidson), of Blackfork; grandchildren, LightningBolt and ThunderBolt Boyd, both of Blackfork; sister-in-law, Eula Watson; and two nieces, Marsha and Rita.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, John Patrick Boyd and brother, Adrian Watson Jr.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 19, at the Union Baptist Church in Blackfork with Keith Fulton officiating. Burial will follow in Fairmount Cemetery in Jackson.
